Basic Needs Hub

The Basic Needs Hub is a one-stop location for PCC students to find support for their basic needs concerns.? Each Hub is staffed by a team of Peer Resource Navigators, interns from the PCC Family and Human Services program and the PSU School of Social Work, who offer a peer-to-peer model of support.

What We Do
We provide PCC students with information and referrals to basic needs resources like food, housing, transportation, and healthcare so they can focus on their personal, academic, and career goals.
Peer Resource Navigators help guide and assist PCC students with:
- SNAP eligibility screening and applications
- Complete?this quick screener?to see if you qualify for SNAP!
- Oregon Health Plan information and applications
- Accessing community free food resources
- Navigating housing resources and referrals
- Accessing utility assistance programs
- Mental health provider search
- TriMet Reduced Fare Program applications
- Connection and referrals to on-campus and community resources to address their basic needs
- One-on-one conversations to think things through, identify goals, explore strategies, and build a plan.
